Will it fit my tree?

It fits trunks and center poles from 1 to 2.25 in (2.4 to 5.7 cm) thick, on real or artificial trees from 5 to 7.5 ft tall. Thin pole? The two fillers in the box make the clamp fit snug.
How does it attach?

The clamp opens on a hinge, so you close it around the trunk without taking anything off the tree. Tighten the two hand screws, click in the arms and set the track on top. No tools needed.
Can I put it on the floor instead?

Yes. Leave out the clamp and arms and lay the track around the base of your tree.
What batteries does it need?

4 AA batteries for the locomotive. They are not included.
